As reported in the media, we now also offer specialist advice on the security of your holiday cottage or home. The range of services offered encompasses: cleaning, keyholding, welcoming guests if required, the provision of welcome packages including bouquets of fresh flowers, acting as your agent in emergencies such as in floods, storm damages, dealing with insurance claims, repairs, boiler problems, damage to furniture, lost keys, liaising with local tradespeople, builders, plumbers, electricians, roofers & taking the worry & burden of such other problems that attend the running of a holiday cottage & second home including the prompt, regular & reliable liaison with you our valued clients.
Our cleaning services offered are specified on this website just click on the "Cleaning Services" button. Our new discounted fee structure for our standard Holiday Cottage & second Home Management Service is £2000 per year plus an extra charge for additional work such as repairs plus materials plus laundry & ironing costs which vary from £45 per week, based on a double bed and 2 single beds, depending on actual weight of linen to freshly launder & iron-"-our current rates to launder & iron are : £5.40 per kg for bedding and £4.00 per kg for towels & dish cloths .Please note the standard charge is based on cottages with up to 3 bedrooms it may cost more dependent on size of cottage /second home & its lay-out.
The standard fee of £2000 covers keyholding, cleaning for 2.5 hours once a week for 52 weeks per year, gardening for 3 hours a month on average plus 2 security visits per week, 24 hour attendance emergency service. Travel costs payable by the client's depend on the location of your holiday cottage. Quarterly or monthly payments in advance may be accepted subject to a banking surcharge of 5%. Our service may be tailored to your specific requirements & tariffs adjusted accordingly if you require our diamond or platinum service for example a live in caretaker or guide or nurse or carer especially as this new service may be more popular as the age distribution of the population changes significantly with an increase in the number of "silver surfers" consciously looking online for safe, luxurious, holiday properties that offer that extra selling point - This also would possibly attract more foreign guests too. .
We can visit your cottage for a initial consultation, and this will cost £36 plus travelling expenses. However if you subsequently book and pay us within 24 hours we will refund these consultation charges re our cleaning and holiday cottage management. We also have an extra section to market your Holiday Cottage accommodation, having nearly 18 years experience in the holiday leisure industry - we previously owned luxury holiday properties including a cottage, hotel & other accommodation as well as being involved with the management & marketing of other owner's properties.
